The Exmouth Game Fishing Club’s GAMEX tournament is Western Australia’s biggest fishing event. We first invited Adam along as a GAMEX special guest in 2020, offering competitors the opportunity to have their catches uniquely immortalised at the weigh station after each day of tournament fishing. This has been hugely popular; both with competitors and also with spectators watching the fascinating printing process take place. So much so in fact that Salty Bones is now a fixture at GAMEX every year.
As a club we’ve also commissioned Adam to print a whole range of species for us, from black marlin and huge yellowfin tuna to queenfish and Spanish mackerel and every single print has been a spectacular work of art. We could not recommend Adam and Salty Bones highly enough - in our opinion Western Australia’s leading marine artist.

Ado’s talent and style is a truly amazing art form. We have been fortunate enough to have some of our very special captures immortalised on our walls forever with his beautiful original artwork. The only issue we have is we are running out of wall space! Nothing is ever too much trouble and he has worked with us to provide some wonderful and unique awards for our fishing club, which are a highlight at every presentation night.
I honestly couldn’t recommend him enough.Mick GrassoKarratha
After seeing Salty Bones works, I commissioned Ado to create a half colour print of one of my all time favourite fish – the mighty giant trevally. Ado was brilliant with the whole process – from what to do post-capture through to how I would like the print coloured and framed. His attention to detail was something that really stood out, and that is very obviously reflected in all of his artworks.
I could not be happier with the end result, which hangs as a statement piece in my living room. Even my missus loves it which is perhaps the biggest testament!
In my opinion (and I’ve looked around), Ado is the best in the world at this intriguing art form. I’ve already got my next print in mind…I just need to catch the fish!
